Terms of Use
Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the SMASH & DASH CLUB web application and mobile application (the "Service") operated by SMASH & DASH CLUB ("we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
SMASH & DASH CLUB is a sports analytics platform designed for badminton clubs. The Service provides features including but not limited to:
- Player ranking and leaderboard tracking
- Match result logging and historical statistics
- Club group creation and management
- Session scheduling, court booking coordination, and RSVP management
- AI-assisted matchmaking and rotation generation
- Player profile management
3. User Accounts
You must sign in using a supported OAuth provider (Google or Facebook) to access the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used for fraudulent, abusive, or illegal purposes.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Post or transmit content that is defamatory, harassing, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other user accounts, club groups, or our systems
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Submit false, misleading, or inaccurate match data
5. User Content
By submitting content to the Service (including match data, player profiles, and group information), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, process, and display that content for the purpose of providing the Service.
You retain ownership of your content. You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe on the intellectual property rights or privacy rights of any third party.
6. Club Groups
Club group administrators are responsible for managing their group's members and content. Group admins may remove members and manage access to their group. We are not responsible for disputes between group members. Group data is private and isolated — members of other groups cannot access your group's data.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and content (excluding user-submitted content), is owned by SMASH & DASH CLUB and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our express written permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SMASH & DASH CLUB BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
